Sports Pavilion Update!!!!!!

Many of you will have noticed the large concrete pad that was constructed earlier this year in the playing fields. This is the base for the new Sports Pavilion. The Parish Council are pleased to announce that the next phase of the Sports Pavilion is about to commence: erecting a steel frame and roof to form the shell of the future building.  Funding for this has largely been secured from the Sports Lottery and Devon County Council.  Works should commence in the next fortnight - so please be aware of construction plant and materials being stored in the carpark area.  

The next phase will be constructing the outer walls and interior finishings which will probably be in the new year.  We are aiming for this phase of the works to be a community led project (think DIY SOS or similar TV programme) where many hands can achieve a lot in a short time.  If anyone is willing to volunteer their time, whether as a pair of hands or someone with construction skills and tools, then please let Jason know (denburypc.hones@aol.com).
